My Opinion Pieces

Following the report written by dumb and dumber, a lot of people who proved to be hypocrites jumped on the wagon of throwing mud at Ravi Zacharias. As the late apologist often used to say, "When you throw mud at others, you get your hands dirty and you lose a lot of ground." Here are my responses to all of them.

What, Then, Can the Righteous Do? (Part 2)

Following from my last post, I continue my response to a visitor who kindly left a comment on one of my earlier posts. This is the second part of my response. As a reminder, the points raised were: 1. How does one explain Romans 6:1-2? “What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? By no means! We are those who have...

What, then, Can the Righteous Do? (Part 1)

A visitor kindly left a comment on one of my previous posts. Some good points were raised and I thought an article would be more appropriate than a quick reply. My response wasn't going to be short enough for a simple comment and the subject matter wasn't directly related to that article. So, here we are. The points raised were: 1. How does one...

From Wonderful Wisdom to Chaotic Contradiction

This is one post that I have been looking forward to writing and sadly it will not satisfy as I had wished it would. Letter to a Popular, High Profile Preacher (Part 2)

Other heavy accusations made by this one popular, high profile preacher, John Macarthur, against Ravi Zacharias is that he only got into ministry for the money, that he was unrepentant of his sins and that for a high profile preacher to sin in one area means he is sinning in many others. I'd like to touch on these and end my response, which I...

Letter to a Popular, High Profile Preacher (Part 1)

John Macarthur claims that Ravi Zacharias never ever quotes scripture. Hardly a difficult claim to disprove but this is no light matter. On the one hand, Macarthur stands against one rumoured sin but happily, and publicly, indulges in another. Is this ok? Here is the first part of my letter to him. Dear John Macarthur, "Grace to you and peace...

I Promise to Write You Soon

Months ago, I promised I would write and yet no articles have been written. They are coming soon. Please forgive me for the delays in publishing these. It has been a very busy year for me and I've been trying my best to set time aside to write these articles. Also, as I mentioned in my opening article, I don't want this to come out of emotion or...

The “What” and “Why” of Opinions

I will preface this by saying that this post is not going to delve into the "what" and "why" of this website. Here, I am only discussing what the Opinions section will be about and why I think it will be of any benefit that I share my opinions at all. My main focus for RZIam wasn't originally to publish any of my own thoughts or opinions but to...
